Respected visitors at the School of Economics and Management in Public Administration
On the occasion of the working visit of the partner Ningbo Dahongying University (NDU) from Ningbo in the People's Republic of China on the 5th of December 2016 our school was visited by distinguished guests: H. E. Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Lin Lin, Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport prof. Peter Plavčan and Director of the Trade Department of the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency Ing. Tibor Buček.
In their speeches in the formal sitting of the meeting they appreciated the interest and efforts of both higher education institutions - SEMPA and NDU to develop intensive cooperation in the field of education, exchange of students and teaching staff, and thereby contribute to fulfilling the strategic priority of the SR and PRC governments in the field of bilateral cooperation. After presenting the information on objectives, content, forms and conditions of cooperation by heads of both institutions and after the tour of the main building and equipment of the SEMPA they all expressed their belief that the prepared cooperation project with their support will be successful.
Their participation in the meeting was documented by signatures in the chronicle of the SEMPA.
Working visit of the partner Ningbo Dahongying University from the People's Republic of China
Following the invitation of the Rector of the SEMPA Dr. h. c. prof. Ing. Viera Cibáková, CSc. from 5 to 7 December 2016 our school was reciprocally visited by the delegation of the partner Ningbo Dahongying University from Ningbo.
The eight-member delegation was led by the Vice-Rector of the university Prof. Wang Yuner. The delegation consisted of three deans of faculties, representatives of the personnel and international relations departments.
The goal of the visit was to discuss and agree on areas and terms of cooperation for the coming years with the emphasis on the SEMPA offer to provide education to students from China within summer school and standard accredited Bachelor and Master programs.
The importance of the meeting was emphasized by participating eminent persons such as H. E. Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Slovak Republic Lin Lin, Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport Prof. Peter Plavčan and Director of the Trade Department of the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency Ing. Tibor Buček.
In the formal sitting of the meeting the SEMPA finance director Assoc. prof. Ing. Luboš Cibák, PhD. MBA and Prof. Wang introduced their institutions and jointly expressed their gratitude to Ing. Tibor Buček for support and assistance in establishing the partnership during the June visit of the SEMPA delegation in Ningbo in China.
The Rector of the SEMPA appreciated the benefit of the meeting and by signing the Memorandum of Cooperation between SEMPA and SARIO expressed the highest trust and gratitude for the further development of cooperation.
During the festive lunch hosted by the Rector of the SEMPA the Slovak folk songs and costumes were presented to the Chinese visitors by the group Folk Group Duo Plus with the soloist PaedDr. Eleonóra Vančíková Kapasná, who got the biggest applause of guests for the interpretation of the Chinese folk song.
The result of the working meeting was that the Chinese side declared the interest to start with implementing the SEMPA offer at the earliest possible date, i.e. in summer 2017.
